I wish I could say something witty or profound to help you along in this journey. All I can do is thank you for putting yourself out there like this in order to seek out better community and genuineness than you are currently experiencing.

Lord, please help Thomas to acclimate, and to find his niche in this new life you have given him. Please help him to reconcile his past to his present and future, and to who he is in you. Please guide his feet and help him to feel your Spirit flowing through him when he needs you most.

You have friends who are with you during your journey. Reach out as needed.

I get what you're saying, so I won't add to the weight. On lighter note, you might benefit from my (satyrical) graduation address. It might apply.
